The Vertiv Geist Switched Rack PDU VP52101 is a 16A / 20A, 120V / 208V / 230V, 1U horizontal rack power distribution unit (PDU) with input power monitoring and outlet level switching. The VP52101 features 12 Combination Outlet C13 / C19 receptacles and a C20 inlet providing 1.9kW, 3.3kW, or 3.6kW in power capacity determined by the input power configuration. This Switched rPDU allows you to turn off receptacles to avoid accidental overloads and power cycle equipment remotely to reboot unresponsive critical IT equipment. The hot-swappable Interchangeable Monitoring Device (IMD) displays current on the local LED display. It also supports Visible Light Communication (VLC) technology so you can view complete power usage data from a mobile device with the Vertiv rPDU Scanner application. The IMD includes ports for serial communication and environmental monitoring, and dual ethernet ports. Simplify management of multiple PDUs with fault-tolerant daisy chaining or IP aggregation capabilities. All Vertiv Geist Switched PDUs are UL-Listed, meeting an important requirement for data centers, and each unit undergoes individual testing for functionality to ensure your network is powered by a reliable power distribution unit.
